Whole House Cartridge Filters 

Our whole house filters systems are a great solution for general filtration, with the common filter configuration removing sediment, chlorine, and chloramines, as well as low levels of a wide range of chemicals, tastes, & odors. These systems use replaceable filter cartridges to do the job, lasting about 6 months.* When it's time to change them, you simply toss the old filter and replace it with a new one! Since there is no backwash required, there is no waste water. With available specialty filters, these systems can effectively remove most low level contaminates. Note: These common configuration of these systems are designed for average removal of sediment, chlorine, and chloramines, as well as low levels of some chemicals, tastes,& odors, and specialty filters are designed for low level removal of the specified contaminate. If you have high contamination levels a contaminate specific backwashing filter is recommended.

When choosing which filter system you need, remember, the larger the filter, the more water it can effectively treat per minute, so the higher your water use the larger the filter you will need. Each application is different, but the following can be used as a guideline:

Standard 10" : Designed for single outlet use, such as a single sink or shower
Standard 20" & "Big Blue" 10" : Designed for houses with 1 - 2 bathrooms
"Big Blue" 20" : Designed for homes with 2 - 4 bathrooms
